The China L visa is a tourist visa intended for individuals visiting China for leisure, sightseeing, or to visit family. It permits a short-term stay, typically ranging from 60 to 90 days per visit.

Upon starting the application, a unique Application ID will be generated. Please record it carefully.
You will be asked to enter your passport number — make sure to use the number from the physical passport booklet and record it accurately.
Complete all sections thoroughly. Do not skip any parts you think are unimportant.
If you are uncertain about any information, make a note and consult us.
On the final page, do not submit the form. Simply save and exit. Then send us your Application ID and passport number.
If the system flags your photo as non-compliant, don’t worry. Just email us the Application ID, passport number, and the original electronic photo — we will handle it for you.
Your passport must be valid for at least 12 months from the time of application.
Provide one of the following documents:
- A copy of the front and back of a U.S. driver’s license or a state-issued ID
- A recent utility bill (electricity, water, or gas)
- A landline telephone bill
- A bank statement
Note: Only one of the above is required.
If your previous Chinese visa is in an old passport and has expired:
- Provide a copy of the photo page of the old passport and a copy of the expired visa page.
If your previous visa is in an old passport and is still valid:
- You must submit the original old passport (it will be returned to you).
